The Mahoney House is a non-profit agency that provides assistance and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and child abuse.
Our Services
We work closely with our clients to understand their needs, help them articulate their concerns, and empower them to make informed decisions.
Emergency Shelter
We can provide temporary refuge to individuals and families who are actively fleeing domestic violence. Call our 24-hour crisis line: (208) 940-0600.
On-Site Therapy
We offer the convenience of an in-house therapist to provide seamless, compassionate mental health support as part of our comprehensive care.
Safety Planning
Safety planning services help victims think through and plan for dangerous situations — such as what to do when arguments escalate or the victim feels ready to leave the perpetrator.
Relocation
Due to the limited services in Salmon, The Mahoney House can assist clients with relocating to a place with more appropriate resources.
Community Outreach

Advocacy
We want clients to understand their options. We offer emotional support and supply information about available resources such as counseling, legal assistance, and financial support.
